    Emma Rose Bienvenu holds a JD and BCL from McGill University, a double master’s in economics and finance and in corporate law and financial regulation from U Penn Law/Wharton and Sciences Po Paris, and a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Sciences Po Paris. She has previously worked on Capitol Hill, in Washington; at Linklaters LLP, in London; at Pacific Century Group, in Hong Kong; and at PSP Investments and CDPQ, Canadian investors with >$180 and >$320 bn AUM, respectively. She has published multiple articles in academic journals, legal textbooks, and mainstream media outlets; in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, Emma Rose was called to testify as a special witness before the Parliament of Canada to advise the federal government on its response to the global health and economic crisis.

Prior to MakersPlace, Palmer was CEO of Fandom (www.fandom.com), the world’s largest fan platform reaching 315 million unique visitors per month and enabling fans to go deeper on their favorite games, entertainment and culture with unique tools, memorable experiences, original content and commerce. Under Craig’s eight years of leadership Fandom enjoyed a dramatic increase in revenue, employee growth, and industry footprint, and was purchased by TPG Capital in 2018.

    Jeff is AWS Global Head Web3 identifying mechanisms leveraging Amazon’s powers to help Web3 customers to scale. Prior to AWS, Jeff spent seven years in venture finance providing growth capital to early stage, venture-backed tech companies. The decade prior to venture lending, he was a financial and commodity derivatives trader. His first career stop was as 4th employee running operations and corporate development for the first non-financial institution to deploy ATM machines. Before starting his career, Jeff played college and professional hockey and still has all his teeth.

Born in 1982, his creative voice is rooted in the 90s; as a true conduit of his generation and their potentially pointless search for meaning and purpose amidst a cruel life in a flawed world. Prior to that, he was a Director and FinTech advisor at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, a Managing Principal of the Indian Wells Group, and the Head of Partnerships for SwapClear. Jeff holds a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA from Yale University.

Chia previously worked at Bessemer Venture Partners, Rocket Internet, Antler, Allen & Overy. Chia graduated with a law degree from the University of Cambridge and an unfinished MBA from Harvard Business School.

    Jeff joined Pantera in 2022 as Director of Capital Formation. Jeff has an extensive background in the investment management space as an entrepreneur, investor, and trader. He was a Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners and held senior roles at York Capital Management and DLJ. He has broad experience across asset classes, having traded equities, fixed income and derivatives on the sell side and for world-class hedge funds. Jeff created The American Flag Football League. In this endeavor, he established a partnership with the NFL, built a community of over 200,000 social media followers, and produced over 700 games and 30 telecasts on CBS, NFL Networks and other media outlets. Jeff received his B.A. and MBA from Cornell University.

    Franklin serves as Pantera’s Director of Portfolio Development, focused on supporting and accelerating the firm’s portfolio companies. He was previously Vice President and Blockchain / Crypto Strategy Lead at J.P. Morgan, as a founding member of the Blockchain Center of Excellence in 2015. He previously launched a blockchain-focused strategy consulting firm, as Founding Partner at Scale8 Partners and Associate Director at Wachsman. Franklin’s previous experience includes corporate strategy and development at J.P. Morgan, early-stage investing at ff Venture Capital, and advising founders at Techstars. Franklin graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and concentrations in Finance, Management, and Entrepreneurship.

    Paul joined as a partner at Pantera in 2014, where he focuses on the firm’s venture capital and early-stage token fund investments. He has helped launch Pantera Venture Funds and the firm’s token funds, executing over 100 investments. Paul also sits on the board of Alchemy, Blockfolio, and Staked, is a mentor at The House Fund, Boost VC, and Creative Destruction Labs, and is an advisor to Audius, Ampleforth, and Set Labs. Paul’s prior experience includes working as an associate at Strive Capital, where he focused on investments in the mobile space, including an early stage investment in App Annie. He also performed partnerships and growth for Urban Spoils, a daily-deal aggregation startup, and worked with LECG and Hatch Consulting. Paul graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.

    Joey joined Pantera in 2017 to manage the funds as co-CIO. Prior to Pantera, he co-founded the Forecast Foundation, a group that contributes to Augur, a decentralized prediction market platform and solution to the oracle problem. In 2013, Joey also built a point of sale system enabling Bitcoin payments with sound (and did the first Bitcoin payment over sound) and Bluetooth. He co-founded an AngelList syndicate, which is now one of the top fifteen by backing and is an Edmund Hillary Fellow. Joey studied Computer Science at Pomona College prior to pursuing his Thiel Fellowship.

    Head of APAC Institutional Sales & Singapore COO, Coinbase
    Kayvon Pirestani is Coinbase’s head of institutional sales for the APAC region and the COO of Coinbase Singapore. Before joining Coinbase, Kayvon ran the Japan OTC equity derivatives sales desk for Morgan Stanley where he marketed structured volatility and synthetic equity products to global institutional investors. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Kayvon was at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong where he put together some of Asia’s largest-ever equity options transactions. Kayvon received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Kayvon has been investing in cryptocurrencies since 2013.

    Tyler Spalding is currently a Co-Founder at Flexa, a blockchain payments company based in New York City. He has been involved in crypto since 2011. Tyler is the former Chief Technology Officer at Raise, the world’s largest gift card marketplace with over $1B in sales and $150M in venture funding. Tyler has more than 20 years of technology experience, has founded and sold three software companies, and is an active seed-stage investor in 25+ startups. He is author to more than 50 technology patents, and was previously an aerospace engineering faculty member at two universities. Tyler is also a proud former engineer for the United Space Alliance, the United States Air Force, NASA Mars Crew Module, and the NASA Space Shuttle Program.

    Pradyumna Agrawal (Prady) is a Managing Director at Temasek and is currently responsible for Temasek’s blockchain venture building efforts and investments, with a focus on programmable money, digital asset tokenisation, decentralised identity and data, and Web 3 applications. Prady is a Founding Team Member of LemmaTree, Affinidi, GoodWorker, Trustana, Marketnode, Partior, Menyala and Superscrypt, and represents Temasek on the Boards of these companies. He is also a Board Member of Pine Labs. He has previously represented Temasek on the Diem Council and the Boards of C2FO and GoJek. Prady joined Temasek in 2013 and before his current role, he was involved in global financial services investing at Temasek, including the Americas, Southeast Asia, India, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Temasek, Prady was with Morgan Stanley as Vice President, Investment Banking. He started his career as an Analyst with Sharad Dalal & Co and has worked at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young.

An avid angel investor and advisor, Kevin loves working with startup founders around the world and did a stint as a Visiting Partner at YCombinator in 2020.

    Brooks Entwistle is the SVP of Global Customer Success, and the Managing Director for APAC and MENA at Ripple. Prior to joining Ripple, he served as Chief Business Officer International for Uber, responsible for business development and the firm’s relationships across Asia Pacific, EMEA and Latin America. Previously, he was the CEO of Everstone Capital, a premier India and Southeast Asia focused private equity and real estate investment firm. Before joining Everstone in 2014, Brooks was a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he spent 22 years in various capacities, including 15 years based in Asia. Most recently, he was Chairman of Goldman Sachs South East Asia as well as CEO of Goldman Sachs Singapore. Prior to this, he spent 5 years in Mumbai as CEO and Founder of Goldman Sachs India where he was responsible for leading and building the firm across all divisions. He also served as the Founder & Co-Head of Goldman Sachs Asia’s High Technology Group. Earlier in his career, Brooks served as a District Electoral Supervisor with the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC).Brooks holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

    Mike Belshe is the driving force behind BitGo’s product and business strategy for delivering security, compliance, and custodial solutions for blockchain-based currencies. Prior to BitGo, Mike was one of the first engineers dedicated to building Chrome at Google. He is creator of the SPDY protocol and lead author of HTTP/2.0—the internet protocol responsible for loading web pages today. In 2003, Mike co-founded Lookout Software—an email search company acquired by Microsoft—and has held management positions at several startups, including Netscape, Good Technology, and Critical Path. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He is also an inventor with over 10 technology patents.

    Diogo Monica is the co-founder and President of Anchorage, a company that brings the world’s most advanced and proven security architecture to cryptocurrency custody, to deliver the services institutions expect from a traditional custodian. Before founding Anchorage, he was security lead at Docker, an open platform for building, shipping and running distributed applications. While at Docker he worked on the security foundations of the container and orchestration subsystems that are now used as core building blocks of modern IT infrastructure worldwide. Diogo Monica was an early employee at Square where he led the platform security team and built the security infrastructure used by Square to move over $80B in annualized volume. He has a BSc, MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science has published several papers in peer-reviewed security conferences on the topic of distributed systems and information security, and is the author of several patents in secure communications, encrypted hardware, and payment systems.
